Students Encourage Injured Teacher

Several weeks ago, long-time CHS coach and teacher John Furlow was injured in a car accident.  Since, then he has been in ICU at a downtown hospital.  Known as “Mr. CHS,”  Furlow has been missed by his students and fellow faculty.  The CHS family has come together to show him their love.

In a recent email, fellow teacher Nicole Kitigawa announced, “You may have seen the flyers or heard the buzz…the Furlow Fan shirt is now on sale!  Please announce this to your classes/teams/groups/alumni/community members/friends.”

Kitigawa added, “This is not a fundraiser for Furlow, it’s just a sign of support.  We are charging $5 per shirt, which is what it will cost us.”

The t-shirts are on sale now.  Furlow Fans are hoping to get to wear them soon when he comes back to school.
