Students look forward to holiday activities

With Christmas in less than two weeks, many students are getting excited for the holiday spirit. With many festive activities, events, and places to visit this holiday, we asked a few students what they were looking forward to doing this year.

 

“I am looking forward to this Christmas because I enjoy singing carrolls, making gingerbread houses, ice skating, and playing in the snow! I like to go to Moody Gardens and visit places in the north for vacation. Every Christmas my family and I go to church and go see all the lights.” -Alexa Lynch, Junior

“Every year my family and I put our Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving, and on Christmas we go look at lights and visit Church. My favorite holiday activity is watching Christmas movies.” -Damilola Olabinjo, Junior

“I enjoy going to Santa’s Wonderland every year with my family, and on Christmas day we all say thanks. Visiting the mall and galleria are my favorite holiday activities because I love looking at all the lights and decorations”     -Imaya Virani, Sophomore

“This break I am visiting Atlanta, and my favorite holiday activity is eating Christmas dinner with my family and watching Christmas movies.” -Jaida Swanson, Junior

 

“My favorite holiday activities are making snowflakes, skiing, and fishing. I like to go to the Zoo Lights every year and visit Colorado.” -Megana Sundar, Junior
