Homecoming celebrations to begin

Claire Myers, Editor In Chief

The week of Oct. 3 is Spirit Week, a time that culminates in the annual Homecoming game and dance.  The following are the themes for this year’s daily dress ups.

Monday 10/3: Class Colors

Freshman – Yellow

Sophomores – Green

Juniors – Red

Seniors – Black

Faculty – Purple

Tuesday 10/4: Tourist Tuesday

Wednesday 10/5: Wacky Wednesday

Thursday 10/6: Character Day

Friday 10/7: Blue Out Day

Clements Homecoming will be on October 8th, from 8 pm to 11 pm in the Commons. Tickets are 25 dollars per person, paid with cash or a check, and can be bought at all lunches the week of Oct. 3.  Buyers must have a current student ID.  Any Clements student can go and bring a date. If the date does not attend Clements, then they will need to fill out a permission form and turn it in before Homecoming night.

This years theme is New York State of Mind.  Stu-Co, students from the National Art Honor Society, and anyone else who wants to contribute, help to plan and prepare for Homecoming.  The Friday before the dance, there will be a Homecoming pep rally during seventh period and the football game at 7 pm.
