With New Year Comes New TV Shows

As the New Year arrives, so do many upcoming TV shows. With the celebration of the New Year, people have the opportunity to enjoy some new TV shows. For example:

January 7th

  • Angel from Hell– Two women, Allison and Amy, are a part of an unlikely relationship. Allison is a hard working doctor and Amy is a brassy woman who intervenes in Allison’s life. Amy wants to become Allison’s guardian angel and be able to guide her, but Amy is having a hard time deciding whether or not she should let her do it.
  • Shades of Blue– A New York detective and single mother, Harlee Santos got involved with dirty cops and takes bribes in order to pay for her daughter’s future. Now the FBI is on her trail and she must figure out how to answer the FBI agents without harming her daughter.

January 13th

  • Second Chance- Jimmy Pritchard is a seventy-five year old man who is a womanizer, a drinker, and a father who always puts his family last. After resigning from his position as the L.A. County Sheriff, he is killed in a robbery. His death is much shorter than he expected as he is brought back to life and must reconsider all his options and figure out his next move.

January 14th

  • Colony- Set in the near future, Los Angeles has been taken over by foreign intruders. Will Bowman; a former FBI agent is forced to collaborate with the intruders in order to take down the resistance that is rebelling against the new authority. He must be careful on what he chooses to do because he has to protect his wife and kids who are part of the resistance. 

January 25th

  • Lucifer- Bored with his life as the king of Hell, Lucifer decides to retire in L.A. where he owns a club called, Lux. He’s enjoying his days on Earth until a woman is brutally murdered in front of his club. He begins to feel a certain pang of emotions, whether it’s sadness or sympathy he is very disturbed by it. He meets a detective, Chloe Dancer, who is intrigued by his talent to draw people’s secrets out. He is also intrigued by Chloe’s purity and believes that there may be some hope for his soul yet.
