Decathlon Wins Second in District

    The CHS Decathlon Team hosted the District competition last weekend, and earned second place over all.
   “Our Team worked very hard and won lots of medals,” said Jennifer Craddock, Decathlon sponsor.  ” We were not happy taking second place, and we will try to take back our title at Region.”
   The following students placed in one or more contests:
       John Salchak – 1st place speech, 2nd place interview, 2nd place social science

      Albert Han – 1st place math, 3rd place science, 2nd place economics, 2nd place music, 2nd place social science, 3rd place interview, 2nd place overall score

      Ali Zaidi – 1st place speech, 3rd place interview, 3rd place essay, 3rdplace science

      Linh-Thuy Le – 2nd place speech, 1st place interview, 2nd place music, 1st place language and literature

      Helen He – 2nd place math, 3rd place social science, 3rd place overall score

      Kun Hong – 1st place interview, 3rd place speech, 3rd place essay

      Jeremy Brener – 1st place speech, 3rd place math

      Galen Lytle – 2nd place essay

      Sara Rufael – 2nd place speech
