Open Auditions Set for Clements Talent Show

With the ending of an era, American Idol’s last season is this year.  Here at Clements, another era is ending, but a new one is just beginning.

CTV staff members have announced that the annual Clements Idol is changing to Clement’s Got Talent.  An annual event since 2004, they say that they want to expand the show to include all kinds of talent, not just singing acts, even though technically, it has always been open to all kinds of talent.

“By changing the name, we hope to attract dancers, actors, musicians, martial artists, anyone with an act.  We will keep the same format, letting the audience vote for the winner,” said Ethan Cloer, senior CTV producer.

Try outs for this annual event will be December 9th and 10th after school in room 2812.  Acts will audition for producers on a first come first served basis.

The actual show will be February 19 at 7 p.m. in the CHS auditorium.  Tickets will be $5 and available at the door. For more info, see any CTV producer or Ms. Linda Carroll in room 2812.
