As the year starts coming to a close, we all begin to look back at all the memories and experiences we’ve created. We begin to think about what we’ve done, what we have, and how grateful we should be. Celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November, Thanksgiving is a time when people all over the world appreciate certain aspects of their lives. I was able to discover the different reasons what our fellow rangers are thankful for, such as:

“My Life. Everything in my life has been a blessing,” Profesora Lite, teacher.

“Family,” Nourdin Attar, freshman.

“My two dogs.” Matthew Sacks, freshman

“My family.” Jacob Crowley, freshman

“My friend for driving me around all the time because I don’t have my license yet.” Joy Capellan, senior

My family, my health, and a working environment where people are loving, caring, and sincere.” Mrs. Hubert, counselor

“Sleep.” Cameron Dial, freshman

“My puppy and my seven cats!” Sofia Sadiq, junior

“Food.” Janya Ram, freshman

“Rice Krispies.” Helen Liang, freshman

“Being able to wake up every day and be happy.” Crystal Guo, senior

“My family and my home.” Aeliya Arif, junior

“My students. My health. My family. My coworkers. These are the first things that came to my mind.” Mr. Perrin, teacher

“Long weekends.” Sydney Mills, junior

Thanksgiving is time to share love, make memories, and simply be thankful. Although it may seem like you don’t have everything, you definitely have more than you need.

So ask yourself, “What am I thankful for?”
