NFL+Playoffs

It’s almost time for the 51st Super Bowl (in Houston!) which means every team in the playoffs is putting on their A-game to make it to the finals.

Up until this point, some fans were slowly falling out of the football craze and focusing their energies elsewhere. The games produced a fairly mediocre season, with a few name-droppers excelling in their field (*ehem* Aaron Rodgers). It wasn’t until the NFL wild card round that interest picked up after the Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, and Pittsburgh Steelers swept their teams to victory.

Starting QB Brock Ossweiler with the Texans finally decided to ditch his streak of incomplete passes while Aaron Rodgers made headlines for this seventh consecutive win. If this was just the beginning, it’s no wonder fans all over the country are now psyched to see what the playoffs have in store.

Here’s what the lineup looks like for the rest of the month:

January 14th: Seahawks @ Falcons / Texans @ Patriots

January 15th: Steelers @ Chiefs / Packers @ Cowboys

January 22nd: NFC Championship Game: TBD / AFC Championship Game: TBD

Right now the bets are falling on the Patriots and the Packers to make it to the Super Bowl. Needless to say the other teams in the playoffs are qualified and will without a doubt put up a good fight, but these two teams have really outdone themselves this season. Ending with a record of Patriots 14-2 (AFC East Champion) & Packers 10-6 (NFC North Champion), they have two of the best quarterbacks in the league.

Trust it when they say that these eight teams are just warming up because neither of them is going down without a fight. Tune in to ESPN and NBC every weekend to watch who makes it to the next round!
