Sometimes, after you eat dinner or go shopping, you are in the mood for a ‘sweet treat’, but you’re not so sure what to have, cycling through a list of saccharine options. Cookies? I had them yesterday. Cake? Better to have it when there’s a birthday party. Frozen yogurt? Perfect. But which shop is the perfect place to buy frozen yogurt from?
Welcome to Yogurtland, where unique flavors of frozen yogurt blend with delicious toppings! Yogurtland offers several seasonal flavors such as pumpkin pie, peppermint mocha and rocket pop sorbet. Toppings include rolled wafer cookies, brownie bites, cookie dough bites, M&M’s, sour gummy worms, gummy bears, cereal, whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, crushed Oreos, chocolate sprinkles and Skittles.
You’re able to take time to choose the flavors you want to have in your cup, pick a few favorite toppings and decorate your own cup. There are a wide variety of flavors and toppings, so it is the ideal place to go for dessert. The environment in Yogurtland is peaceful, so if you ever need a place to relax while eating your frozen yogurt, this is the perfect place. Bring a book, friend or family member, and enjoy your quality time while eating tasty frozen yogurt.
The frozen yogurt is top quality, having a light, smooth, sorbet-like texture that melts into your mouth. Many pumpkin-flavored foods taste artificial, but when eating pumpkin-flavored froyo from Yogurtland, you won’t have to worry about that.
As an indecisive person, I know it can be very difficult to choose what you want to have, especially if it is your first time trying a restaurant or dessert shop, so here are what I find to be the best flavors and toppings to put in your yogurt cup as a frequent Yogurtland visitor.
As for yogurt, my favorite flavors have to be classic cookies and cream, fresh strawberry, cheesecake and alphonso mango tart. What I love most about fresh strawberry and alphonso mango tart are that they don’t taste ‘artificial’. It is as if you’re having strawberries or mango—but in frozen yogurt form. It tastes refreshing, like a sorbet, and despite both flavors having a sweet taste, it isn’t too overpowering, so you still taste the fruit. But let’s talk about my all-time favorite: classic cookies and cream. As an Oreo lover, I felt quite disappointed how I wasn’t able to taste the cookies and cream as much, and it simply tasted like chocolate frozen yogurt. It is still my go-to because of the rich, sweet, milk-chocolate taste. The cheesecake flavor never gets boring for me. This frozen yogurt still has that slightly sour and tangy taste associated with cheesecake, but with more sweetness added in. I love how all of these flavors don’t have an unnatural taste incorporated—instead, it tastes authentic, as if you are actually eating the physical food itself.
Honestly, including toppings make frozen yogurt a lot better. My favorite toppings that enhance my ‘froyo’ order are brownie chunks, cookie dough bites, strawberries and chocolate sprinkles. The brownie chunks are chocolatey, dense and gooey with a buttery fudge-like taste. The cookie dough bites are soft and chewy, the strawberries are fresh, juicy and sour but a little sweet. The chocolate sprinkles add the perfect texture and there is also a ‘chocolatey’ taste to them.
Overall, Yogurtland is the best place to buy frozen yogurt from, and it doesn’t disappoint with the flavors and toppings. So, if you ever want a tasty dessert after a long, exhausting day, stopping by Yogurtland to have a sweet treat is the way to go.
