1. Spirit of Texas Royalty 2022 to 2024 Uniforms
From their iconic walk outs to their signature color purple, Spirit of Texas Royalty is one team to look out for. Their 2022-2024 uniforms have always been one of my favorites ever since I saw them. Embedded with Swarovski crystals the uniforms shine on stage. From the small details like the mesh panels on the sleeves, to the outline of the state of Texas, Royalty stands out from their competitors. The waistband of the skirt is covered in rhinestones along with the bottom of the top. In these uniforms, they brought home their first Worlds championship. They also won two national competitions—Majors and ACA—in the Medium (23-30 people) level 6 Coed division.
2. Cheer Extreme Allstars: Lady Lux 2024 to 2026
Lady Lux is one of the best International teams in cheerleading. With their first year competing in the level 5 division, they have now grown to be four time world champions and 1 time IASF world champions. The Varsity rules say that they must wear mesh underneath their pink uniforms, but something that made them stand out more this year was the swap to white uniforms with pink accents. In the past years, they have leaned more toward pink and black or ombre uniforms. Now with a mix of light pink and hot pink, it makes these simple uniforms more unique.
3. Top Gun Allstars: Lady Jags 2023
Lady Jags is known for their upbeat and creative routines, particularly the 2023 season onstage outfit change. With a small movement integrated in choreography, the athletes ripped a piece of their skirt to reveal a second pink layer underneath. Although the outfit change made the uniform more memorable, the design was already iconic. With their letters “L.J” all over the skirt and sleeves you could clearly tell what team they were. The off the shoulder top is outlined with hot pink and is sprinkled with rhinestones.
4. Cheer Extreme Allstars: Senior Elite 2023 to 2025
“Teal wears the crown.” You can hear the crowd shouting these lyrics while Senior Elite performs their ‘24-’25 routine. With their white and teal uniforms you know instantly that it is Senior Elite. Senior Elite has won worlds a total of 5 times, twice in these uniforms. It may not have as much sparkle and shimmer as other teams but the bright and refreshing colors give you something to love. The beautiful sleeves have white mesh along with bedazzled white and teal fabric. Then of course they have “Senior Elite” across their chest repping their team in the Large All Girl division.
5. Cheer Extreme Allstars: SSX 2024 to 2025
SSX’s uniforms are black and white to represent their shark theme. The back of the uniform is a criss-cross style with rhinestones all along the straps. The skirt has a bedazzled waist band with tiny rhinestones scattered across the skirt. SSX is displayed across the front of their uniform in big bold letters and explodes with rhinestones around them. SSX has won worlds in the Small Senior Level 6 division 4 times, including their 2024 championship being All Girl Grand champions.
All of these uniforms have their own unique features, from embedded Swarovski crystals to removable skirts, every one of these uniforms bring something new to the table. But their uniforms, alongside others, have also changed and adapted throughout the years. Royalty, SSX, Senior Elite, Lady Jags, and Lady Lux have kept the cheer world entertained and excited to see what is next for cheerleading.
