PALS Dodgeball Tournament

PALS+Dodgeball+Tournament

Zachary Waxali and

PALS will be hosting the annual Dodgeball Tournament on April 4 to raise money for the charity organization Hope For Three. The tournament will be held in the Girl’s Gym from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Starting March 25, packets are available to be picked up from a table in the commons and teams can sign up at lunch until today, Friday, March 29. All packets and money are due by Monday, April 1, either to the table at lunch or to the PALS teacher, Robin Sparwasser, in room 2103.

Teams are required to have six people on a team with at least two members of the opposite gender. Team names must be school appropriate in order to play. Each person participating must pay five dollars, totalling thirty dollars per team. Students and faculty can also attend the tournament to watch and tickets will be sold at the door for one dollar.

All profits will be donated to Hope for Three, an organization whose mission is “to reach one child, one family, one community by creating awareness and providing support to families living with autism spectrum disorder”. Their vision is “to bring about positive social change and create an inclusive community where each child’s unique abilities are acknowledged and fostered”. For more information regarding the organization, visit www.hopeforthree.org or call 281-245-0640.

For inquiries or if there are any questions, PALS students will be available at both lunches to speak about the dodgeball tournament. Cheering, posters, and school spirit are encouraged for those watching the tournament.
