Recently, the Houston Rockets took on the unstoppable Golden State Warriors in Houston, Texas. This was the second game of the series between these two teams. The first game was won by the Houston Rockets in Oakland, California by a score line of 132-127 in a nail biter that went into overtime. The stadium this past Friday did not fill up completely until the second quarter due to heavy rains in Houston two days prior and traffic that lasted as long as an hour and a half.

This game was definitely going to be different. The game started off very evenly while the Warriors and Rockets had the same amount of turnovers. The game was very fast paced with many three point attempts by both teams. The Warriors ball movement was crucial to their game plan. Klay Thompson was shooting the ball very well for the Warriors, as well as Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. Clint Capella was playing very aggressively crashing the boards and getting important fouls against the other team. Zaza Pachulia went into the half with 4 fouls for the Warriors. Montrezl Harrell was playing nothing like a rookie for the Rockets; he was playing as if he has been in the league for a long time.
The Warriors started the second half with 56-58. The second half started a lot differently from the the first half. The Warriors ran over the Rockets in the second half. The Rockets doubled the amount of turnovers as they had in the first half because of the warrior’s great defense. The Rockets could not get a single shot to fall as they went 4-27 from the three point line which became the worst shooting percentage they’ve had all year. James Harden was very quiet this game with producing very little action for himself as well as his teammates. The Warriors ball movement was amazing in the second half like the first half. The Warriors shots were falling and everything was going great for their team. They pulled out a key win in Houston with Kevin Durant being the leading scorer of the game. The Warriors won 125-108 giving the Houston Rockets and their fans a tough loss.
