Everyone enjoys at some point being able to sit down and read a good book. Well, 2016 is going to be a year of many “must-reads” coming out. Here are just a few:

Heartless by Marissa Meyer – This thrilling book is a prequel to what the Queen of Hearts life was like before Wonderland. She just wants to fall in love, but many complications come in the way and the reader gets to follow on the story of her life that made her who she becomes.

Blackhearts by Nicole Castroman – Follow Teach and Anne as they fight for what they want but what they can’t have. They both come from backgrounds that have caused them to come into each others lives and help each other out. This is predicted to be a popular book of 2016.

Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton – A story about a girl running away from her home to really see what’s out there. Amani has to go through many trials and fight off beasts with her companion, Jin, a foreigner to her homeland. She has to depend on her many skills to help her.

Burning Glass by Kathryn Purdie – Sonya is able to feel what those around her can feel. So, her job is to protect the emperor and if she does one small mistake, then she is done for. This causes her to have to choose between people as well as fight for her own survival in this thrilling story.
