October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! At the bottom of this article, you will find a few organizations that support the survivors and people who are currently struggling with breast cancer.

Save the Date:

10/23 – Last day to drop a course (one semester or full-year courses) if the student’s schedule allows.

10/27 – School day SAT for seniors, 7:30 A.M. – noonish

10/29 – PSAT for sophomores and juniors, 7:30 A.M. – noonish

10/29 – End of Progress Report Period #3

10/30 – Homecoming football game v. Dulles HS

10/30 – School holiday for students and staff

11/1 – End of Daylight Savings Time – “fall back” at 2:00 A.M.

Homecoming:

Nominate one boy and one girl from your class.

Nominations close Thursday, October 15, 11:50 p.m.

Nominees will be announced Friday, October 16.

Voting will occur on October 19-21.

Freshman, sophomore, junior winners will be announced Thursday, October 22.

King and queen announced during homecoming week (at parade or game):  October 26-30.
