As February starts, many people start planning their romantic Valentine’s Day date, but at Clements, the sound of Valentine’s Day is heard throughout the school thanks to the CHS Varsity Mixed Choir taught by head choir director, Janet Menzi, and assistant choir director, Ryan Bogner.

A Singing Valentine, which includes a mashup of songs, a flower, and a lollipop, can be bought for five dollars from one of the Clements’ Choir booster club members during both lunches from Monday, February 6 to February 10. Songs are performed either acappella or with a guitar or ukulele for the lucky recipient during 3rd period classes.

By buying a Singing Valentine, students are not only spreading joy and love, but they are also helping the choir in one of it’s main fundraisers of the second semester. Another upcoming fundraiser is the second, and last Coffee House of the year which will take place at the beginning of March.
