It seems that the new talk these days is all about the brand new Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Every other year, Apple comes out with a brand new style of phone and then they slightly update it the next year. The iPhone 7 has plenty pros and cons that have come along with it.

The biggest problem I have noticed that has bothered lots of people, including me, is how there is no headphone jack. This makes it so you either have to use wireless headphones (which can get very expensive), or Apple has created an adapter that you plug into the charging port, which seems to me like a very big and annoying thing to do. But, any way to get money, right?

Apple is not creating the space grey color anymore for the iPhone 7, and they are now replacing that was jet black. This jet black has more of a glossy look to it. I, personally, am not a fan because I feel as if it would look ugly with my fingerprints all over it. Right now, I have the space grey 6s, and it is my absolute favorite out of all of the colors.

On a positive note, the camera is much nicer and more improved than the 6 or the 6s. This is one of the main gadgets that everyone likes about the new 7. You can zoom in more, with not as drastic of a change in resolution. Also, there are more flashes. If you get the plus, there are two cameras on the back, instead of just one. I think this would be really nice for taking good photos.

The iPhone 7 is also waterproof. Of course, Apple doesn’t recommend throwing your phone into the pool, ocean, or any other body of water, but it does help with those small accidents of possibly dropping it in a puddle or maybe even the toilet! Apple claims that the iPhone 7 can be held in three feet of water for thirty minutes.

So, now when you go phone shopping, maybe you should consider whether or not you want to buy the brand new iPhone 7 or maybe take a step back, reconsider your options, and maybe get the 6s or a different type of phone.
