Congratulations to the Class of 2025! You’ve done it.

Allow yourselves to look ahead to the future and revel in the limitless possibilities that lie ahead. No matter what you’ve accomplished so far in high school, or if you feel like you have not done enough, know that from here, you have the power to make even your most far-fetched dreams a reality. Do not sell your ideas cheaply — hold them close to you and take pride in the value your unique perspective brings to this world. Our society needs all of us, and do not let insecurity be the reason you hold yourselves back.

This graduation is a major milestone, but it is far from the end. It is only just the beginning of a lifetime of growth, exploration, and discovery. You decide what the next decades will look like for yourselves and for our world. You can design new technology, pass new laws, and write new books. Make your mark. Be kind, and be courageous.

As Eleanor Roosevelt said, the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
