"My favorite experience at Clements was getting to know my peers, teachers, and counselor. Their support and guidance are the primary reason why I am able to experience academic success. As I pursue my passion of becoming a physician, I hope to meet individuals who are just as encouraging and inspirational. I cannot thank Clements enough for gifting me the friendships, skill sets, as well as mentality that I need to reach for the stars and actualize my dreams." Jason Lin

"My favorite high school memory would definitely be the months of preparation Student Council undertakes annually to make our homecoming beautiful and memorable. After weeks and weeks of hard work, Student Council members stay the night before homecoming until late in the night to set everything up, only to come back the following morning to make sure the decorations are perfect. The struggles and mishaps that inevitably pop up do nothing to dent the amazing feeling of helping put together something for the school with your friends and peers."- Shiv Pandya

"My most enjoyable experience at Clements High School was leading the Red Cross club alongside my fellow officers.  What began as an unfamiliar group of acquaintances quickly evolved into a cohesive family unit.  However, it was not the countless hours spent organizing events and planning meetings that made this so memorable; it was the irrevocable friendship that arose because of it.  Four years later, as we all graduate and go to college in different cities, our friendship is being put to the ultimate test.  However, true friendship isn’t about being inseparable; it is about being separated and nothing changes."-Mohini Bindal

"One of my favorite parts of Clements are the clubs that I'm involved in because they've enabled me to meet so many different people, many of whom have become my lifelong friends. Clements is great because its students are great, and I will definitely miss the community I experienced here."-Amy Ma

"Some of my favorite memories at Clements have been longboarding upstairs and in the parking lot with crazy people (Amna and Linda) on days with perfect weather, jumping off tables with my dysfunctional compadre (#26), and always working on art with friends after school until insane hours."-Rachel Hsu

"My favorite experiences at Clements have been the times we spent entire class periods engrossed in tangentially related discussions. Wether it be an application of a theorem or a random math problem someone found online, the process of questioning, deliberating, and revising is deeply edifying."- Felix Tan

"This year has been quite a journey and definitely far better than I could've ever imagined it would be at the very beginning. And the only reason why I'm able to say so is because of the great friends that have made it to be where we are now! Now on what my favorite memory of high school would be, I wouldn't be able to give a straight answer; the year has just been filled with so many great experiences that there are far too many to even choose from. And so I guess I have to say that the whole entire year has been my favorite "memory". And I'd like to thank my friends and family for all the love and support they've given me to get this far!"- Mathan Moy

"My favorite times at Clements were spent on the bayou behind the school. One year, we built a stone bridge across the water. Another time, we assembled a makeshift raft out of traffic cones and garbage bags. Other years produced 180-foot ziplines strung from one side to the other. The grass and water is home to turtles, fish, geese, snakes, and maybe even some alligators. It's a bustling hotspot no one should pass up on."-Wilbur Li

"One of my favorite Clements experiences was the "World of Music" event my friend and I planned and hosted for our GSA Capstone class. Everything was about music: we talked a lot about it, we played a lot of it, and it was especially fun to watch our friends compete in a musical game that we created. My partner and I got to perform some fun pieces together, including some of my original compositions, and overall it was just so fulfilling to see our friends enjoy themselves and the event play out into a huge success. We definitely ended our year of Capstone on a high note!"-Allison Chang

"My favorite moment from Clements was watching friends dance at IFEST this year. IFEST allowed everyone performing to show off talents that I never knew they had. Getting to see classmates such as Wilbur Li dance to K-pop made the evening fun and entertaining."- Alexander Yang

"My favorite part about Clements was being able to participate in the many clubs and activities. Whether it was competing in computer science competitions, playing ultimate frisbee, or committing seppuku on stage at iFest, I always appreciated the opportunity to try new things, meet new people, and explore my passions."  "My first Texas French Symposium! It's the reason I fell in love with the Clements French program and it introduced me to some of the most amazing people I know. Symposium was a combination of lovely moments - we stopped for ice cream on the way, Madame was knitting during competition rounds, and sharing cheeses and crackers. Not to mention that it was my birthday so the entire Fort Bend bus sang to me on the way back!" Hanwen Zhang

"In freshman year, when I was still a part of orchestra, I was part of the musical that year (one of the few orchestra memories that I actually have). It was called “Guys and Dolls,” and I remember tons of rehearsals where we started off bashing together notes and somehow were able to perform it at the end of the year (truth to be told, though, I don’t think I actually learned everything, even during the show). I have to say, as a freshman, practicing for the musical was not at all fun: we had to practice an-inch-and-a-half thick booklet of music, rehearse for hours, and receive little recognition at the actual musical. A lot of times when I look back on it, I feel like it was a waste of time, especially since I left orchestra after that year, but now, that fact makes it seem valuable in retrospect. Despite knowing that I would gain no reward or compensation or skill, I did it just because I felt I should. It’s a feeling I’ve tended to forget these past years, a feeling I should probably remember in the future."- Albert Han

"My favorite high school memory is staying after school all four years during I-Fest season to watch students audition. I'm always amazed at how talented CHS students are, and it's been incredibly fun to support my peers while taking a break from academics.  Having such a diverse student body made each year's performances original and captivating, so I'm grateful that I have this experience to look back on in the future."-Shweta Sridhar

"My favorite Clements experience is undeniably Mr. Ericson's Multivariable Calculus class. Even though I may not have understood half of what I was taught, I enjoyed calculating flux and being stoked about Stokes' Theorem. He taught me to see in four dimensions while realizing that two cones is one cone. I am going to miss Mr. Ericson's magic tricks, especially the dime one (no spoilers here!)"- Regina Chen

"My favorite memories at Clements have been with the great friends I've made here. Here are just a few: running over parking medians with my co-conspirator (25), jumping off tables with the domestic partner (6), biking and zip-lining and building bridges with Crescent Crew (12 and 14), random walks and photo shoots with the amazing Amna."-Gant Lu

"My favorite Clements experience was an impromptu wedding ceremony held in the art room between a classmate and a golden mannequin. It was insanely elaborate yet completely improvised, and that level of spontaneous fun has always been one of the many reasons why my AP art friends feel like my second family."-Stacy Tao

"It didn’t feel that way when I first joined, but joining JETS was the best decision of my career at Clements High School. I met many of my best friends there through common struggles. Admittedly, with everyone constantly in complete denial over the fact we actually enjoyed cramming obscure facts and fixing our faulty contraptions, it was much easier to connect with one another. It has been such an honor to collaborate and talk with such brilliant and like-minded people from both our team as well as from rival schools. I’ll never stop believing in our team’s limitless potential and will look forward to seeing them break through every expectation, coming out on top every competition." Yang Xu

"My fondest memory from high school has been setting up for homecoming. We would play hide and go seek in the dark, have paint wars, stay up until 1 am, and change the school in both literal and figurative ways. I was exhausted by the end of the night, but also filled with a sense of accomplishment."-Ingrid Wu

"Spending my senior year debate state with the ‘Pink Manatee’ squad and having the time of my life! Despite going to state both my sophomore and junior year, nothing can beat this year’s experience, especially since it was something I least expected."- Samyukta Singh
