Hi there! My name is Karen and I’m a senior this year. I am so excited to be back for another year on the RoundUp! I’m passionate about topics like climate change and environmental policy, gender equality, and systemic poverty, all of which I try to spotlight through my writing. I also love learning languages, including Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. My favorite things are National Geographic, banana bread, the memoir “Crying in H-Mart”, and journalism!
Grace Hu, Reporter
I’m a junior and aspiring author and/or journalist. I enjoy writing cross genre fiction and some nonfiction outside of school (I write for the Fort Bend Star as a youth columnist). My goals for the year are to improve academically and continue writing/journaling and reading every day.
