Todd Francis has been a teacher and coach for 12 years. He teaches On-level World geo and coaches junior varisty girls’ soccer, varsity outside line backs, and is the junior varsity football coach.
Francis attended Texas A&M, then became a coach and a teacher.
“Interacting with kids is more interesting than adults and watching growth in the classroom and on the field,” Francis said.
Francis said the parts of his job that most interest him are his interactions with his students and watching their growth through his teachings on the field and in the classroom. His students and players enjoyed his class and his interactive teaching style.
“He always made the class enjoyable, and I enjoyed learning about the world,” sophomore Alyeska Bonington said.
Bonington said she enjoyed learning about the world with Francis’ help. They also had some great memories in his classroom as well.
“My favorite memory in his class was probably when we did an Australian slang assignment, and it was so fun because all of our accents were really bad,” Sophomore Heidi Hunter said.
Francis has also influenced his students and players heavily by teaching them lessons along the way.
“I learned a lot of good studying techniques from him,” Bonington said.
