Both of the CHS swim teams have won District titles. The girls earned 218.5 points. Austin finished second with 101.5 and the district meet. The boys collected 175 points, and Kempner was second with 109.

CHS advanced 30 swimmers, 47 individual events, and all 6 relays to the region meet. The qualifiers will miss school on Friday for prelims. The swimmers have trained since the first week of school–and through the Thanksgiving and Winter breaks–to succeed at the championship meets, and their dedication didn’t falter this past month while thepool’s heater was broken.
