CHS won another district UIL Spring Meet. The unofficial (but results are final) totals were Clements 501.66 sweeps points to Dulles’ 483.33. Ridge Point and Austin followed with 200+ and 100+ respectively.

Sriman Gaddam won 1st in Accounting and advances to Region. This is a first for Clements.

Kevin Jin 5th

Claire Zhou joins them on the 1st Team Calculator advancing to Region.

Current Issues

Arnav Sethi and Helen Wang join them on 1st Team Curent Issues advancing to Region.

In Computer Applications Theo Esemuze placed 6th

In Computer Science there was a sweep of the top 4 spots.

Warren Wang 1st

Eric Wu and Owen Zhang tied for 2nd

Leon Yuan 4th . The 1st place Comp Sci team advances to Region. This event was on Friday, also a great day to be a Ranger.

In Informative Speaking, another sweep with the top three speakers advancing to Region.

In Lincoln Douglas Debate

Ronak Shah won 2nd , advancing to Region.

In Literary Criticism the top four places were swept again.

Braden Moscarello 4th . Team Lit Crit advances to Region.

Mathematics advances to Region as first team

In Number Sense we had the 2nd place team and will likely advance as Wild Card to Regionals.

In Persuasive Speaking

Both advance to Region.

In Poetry Interpretation

Shaheen Gowani 3rd advancing to Region

In Science, the team won 2nd and again are likely to advance as Wild Card.
Rafay Ashery won 3rd individual with a 1st in Physics and a tie for 1st in Biology

Sameer Rajesh won 4th individual with a 2nd in Chemistry

Druva Bansai and Kangui Xue tied for 6th along with some Vikings.

In Social Studies, the team won 2nd. Cross fingers for Wild Card.

Katherine Bartos 2nd

Other team members are Daniel Maccio, Eric Wan, and Vadhahong

In Spelling and Vocabulary, there was another sweep and regional qualification.

Faye Wang 4th

All told 33 Rangers are advancing to regional. The closeness of the score means that every student who placed won this event
